From Vision to Innovation: A Human-Centric Exploration
L’innovation ne se résume pas à la technologie ; elle est le fruit de la connexion entre l’humain, la créativité et
For me, the value of being on the ground goes far beyond attending conferences or giving talks. It’s about immersing myself in the realities I want to understand and influence. Being on the ground means understanding people, behaviors, trends, and technologies from first-hand experience, not just theory.
With the generation Z, for instance, it’s essential to be where they are — on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Watching what they watch, seeing how they react, observing the content they create and share — these are all insights that no report or research paper can fully capture. It helps me understand how they think, what they value, and what inspires them, which is critical for building strategies that resonate with the future workforce and consumer base.
Being on the ground also means being active in my professional domain. In home automation, I observe how technologies are adopted and used in real environments, learning what works and what doesn’t. I study user behavior, technological integration, and practical challenges firsthand, rather than relying on assumptions.
At the United Nations, I immerse myself in discussions about global challenges — from economic development to social equity. I witness the interactions between countries, NGOs, and leaders, understanding the mechanisms behind international policy and the real-world consequences of strategic decisions.
At MIT, I engage in innovation labs, workshops, and collaborative projects that bring together leaders, creative thinkers, and technologists. Continuous learning in such environments is essential: it allows me to absorb new perspectives, refine my approach, and experiment with ideas that can be applied in business, technology, and social initiatives.
But being on the ground is not only about professional spaces. It’s about culture, society, and human behavior. I attend events like the Paléo Festival and Venoge, not to observe my personal preferences, but to see what people enjoy, what moves them, and what influences their behavior and expectations. Observing, listening, and learning in these contexts expands my understanding of human experience, providing insights that are crucial when creating solutions that are truly relevant and engaging.
By connecting insights from technology, entrepreneurship, culture, and social trends, I can identify patterns and opportunities that others might miss. This immersion gives me a holistic view, allowing me to develop strategies that are both innovative and human-centered.
I am a 42-year-old entrepreneur with experiences spanning France, Switzerland, Canada, the United States, India, Dubai, and Asia. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of being selected by MIT for Innovation & Leadership, making an impact at the United Nations, and being recognized among the 100 visionary leaders, including a feature on Times Square billboards.
These experiences place me in conversations, networks, and strategic discussions that few entrepreneurs ever access. They give me a perspective that combines ground-level reality and high-level strategic insight, allowing me to anticipate shifts and spot opportunities before they emerge.
My journey has taught me that leadership is not just about authority or vision on paper; it’s about experience, empathy, observation, and continuous learning. The combination of global exposure, local immersion, and cross-disciplinary engagement gives me the tools to operate in environments that require both speed and nuance.
When I say I’ve “swapped,” I mean I’ve elevated my perspective, impact, and network to a level that allows me to operate beyond conventional limits. This is not theoretical — it is the result of deliberate action, continuous observation, and applied experience.
Applying the swap across my companies and projects allows me to:
Anticipate market and social changes before they become disruptive.
Turn complex challenges into actionable opportunities.
Connect the right people, ideas, and innovations to create transformation that is tangible, measurable, and sustainable.
Being on the ground across industries, generations, and cultures ensures that my insights are not abstract or disconnected, but rooted in reality. This is what makes my approach credible and actionable.
